The Christian Church in Czestochowa is a community of people who have personally experienced who God is and how He changes lives. We meet to learn the Word of God together, to pray, including for healing, and to support one another in daily life with Jesus. If you are looking for God or for a church in Czestochowa, you are welcome here.
Who We Are
Our church is led by Piotr and Monika Wosinek. Piotr has been a believer since 1997, when he was baptized by immersion as a believer in a church in Dąbrowa Górnicza. Since then, God has led him into an ever deeper knowledge of the Word, prayer and service to people.
Our Story
Our community grew gradually. For a long time it consisted of home groups and informal gatherings of people who wanted to seek God together. In its present form and under Piotr’s leadership, the church has been meeting regularly for about a year. We do not want to be an organization but a family in which everyone can get to know God personally.
What We Do
- We gather for the church’s Sunday meetings (details on the Church Meetings page).
- On Fridays we meet in home groups, smaller and more personal gatherings (Home Groups).
- We pray for one another and for healing. If you need prayer, write to us.
- We study the Word of God and publish teachings that you can watch and listen to online.
- We offer the Bible Course for Everyone for those who want to learn the foundations of faith.
- We hold baptisms for people who want to publicly confess their faith (Baptism).
What We Believe
Below is the basic statement of faith of our community. It is based on the Holy Scriptures. We explore wider topics in our teachings: Key Topics of Faith.
- The Holy Scriptures. The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the highest authority in matters of faith and life (2 Tim 3:16–17).
- God. We believe in one God in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matt 28:19; 2 Cor 13:14).
- Jesus Christ. He is truly God and truly man. He lived without sin, died on the cross for our sins, rose again on the third day and ascended into heaven (John 1:1, 14; 1 Cor 15:3–4).
- Mankind and sin. People were created in the image of God, but through sin they are separated from Him and need salvation (Gen 1:27; Rom 3:23).
- Salvation. It is a gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ, not earned by works. Whoever believes is born again (John 3:16; Eph 2:8–9).
- The Holy Spirit. He lives in believers, guides them, makes them holy and gives spiritual gifts, including prophecy and healing (John 16:13; 1 Cor 12:4–11).
- Healing. God heals today as well. We pray for the sick and believe that the Lord raises them up (Mark 16:18; James 5:14–15).
- Baptism. Believers’ baptism by immersion is a testimony of conversion and of new life in Christ (Rom 6:3–4; Acts 8:36–38).
- The Church. All who believe in Christ form one body. We meet to learn the Word together, pray, break bread and support one another (Acts 2:42; Heb 10:24–25).
- The Second Coming. Jesus will return in glory, and eternal life with God awaits those who believe (John 14:2–3; 1 Thess 4:16–17).
